A while back ther was talk of the 112 being offered through the custom shop. Is this plan still on the table, or has it been scrapped? A titanium handled 112 in BG-42 sure would be nice :).

Paul, I think the suggestion I made to offer a Bg-42 blade swap
was about as far as Buck's gona go with the 112 for now.

I know that you'd really love to have Ti 112 and well......so would I.:(
But I don't think anytime soon mate.

Yeah, we have been all over Joe on that one, maybe this Mayo/Buck will help ease the pain.

Hey guys, maybe if a couple of hundred of us sign on wanting a mini-560 style 112, maybe ol' Chuck will have to relent. It worked for the BG-42 blade swap. Hey Joe, put me down for two. Racer Roy :D

Oh great, another project! :) I was running out of things to do. Not! My name is already on the list for a couple of these, should we ever make them that is.

Hey Joe,
Those guys are getting mighty impatient about those short 560s so I've come up with an idea. All ya gotta do is get some 560s and grind the blade a bit shorter then stick the handle in a press and squeeze it longways until it fits the blade. Voila, a 112 sized 560. ;)

Warhawk, I think that your idea would result in the finger-grooves being too tight and the handle too wide. But it just goes to prove that where there is a will, there is a way. :D Racer Roy

Paul & Joe, Has anyone considered a hardened aluminum handle
for the 112 instead of the titanium version?

This could hold cost down to the point where a limited once a year
run is cost effective. A 112 with Bg-42 blade and shot peened hardend
aluminum handle "looking like" titanium would be a way to spark this
wonderful little knife up. .........and you could add a clip:D

Think about it fella's:cool:

Thumbs up to the pocket clip, thumbs downs to the aluminum instead of titanium. Why stick a hemi in a Yugo? :D Racer Roy
