Got all the knives together for a few passes on the sharpmaker today and I took the opportunity to take some pictures.
Heres the whole group
The fixed blades
The Ontario Pilots knife was 'aquired' from my old man's squadron in the early 70s. The Mora joined the group thanks to blade forums, and the HEST is my favorite blade overall.
Folders
That Gerber was my first EDC knife all through college, sure got a lot of use. Then I wised up. I also swore off serrations. Thats my 3rd Leek, lost the first two due to weak pocket clips. The Buck got most of the pocket time over the last couple years until I got my first Spyderco. Thats the go to folder these days.
Slippies
I don't quite remember which came first but the Stockman or the small SAK were my first knives. They both saw a lot of time in the woods behind the house when I was a kid.
Multitools
The CX was a mainstay on my flak, and now lives in my flight suit. The wave stays with the hiking and shooting gear, don't carry it much but its a great tool.
Its not much, but its mine, and its growing. Clearly I'm in need of a big fixed blade. Probably going to go the ESEE route for that one. Thanks for looking.
