So I recently spent some coins and bought the midnight tiger scales from dale at TKC that I have been looking at for months... Since I was in the spending mood I decided to upgrade my work sharp to the Ken Onion edition. Well both arrived today and I proceeded to thin the edge of my 16 to 30 degrees ands add the new handles. It looks and feels awesome and is just silly sharp. Since my 16 only sees cutting duty I don't think the thinner edge angle will be an issue as I use bigger blades for the harder chores. Anyways thanks again to Mr Becker for an awesome design and Kabar for awesome steel which slows us to have the best bang for the buck blades ... Period.

Cheers

Oh YA! those look great. How did you decide on that color? they all look pretty good.
I bet the 16 is scary at 30 degrees.

Deciding on the colour was easy. I couldn't decide between the midnight tiger and the black and blue but when I decided to buy the black and blue was sold out. Lol

And yeah at 30 degrees it is done right scary... I am sure the first time it bites me it will be bad

Might have to order the blue/black scales from Dale for my Saber 16. They are certainly worth the money. Feel awesome. The thumb scallops on the handles are a nice touch.
