Today I found a Sig P938 locally for the first time since they were introduced, and as luck would have it, it was the all black version with the Hogue grip and extended mag. I've been wanting one since they came out, as I my P238 has been flawless and is just about the perfect pocket carry gun for me, except for the caliber. Once I run the 938 through it's paces on Friday I'll be able to cut the 238 loose, and eliminate .380 from my inventory.

Since I wear a scrub top at work pocket carry is really my only option for a pistol, but my Sus Scrofa carries thin enough that it's been riding on my belt since I got the sheath made for it a couple of weeks ago.

nice! ive been looking at getting one. i had a ruger lc9 but i sold it. i need a new pocket 9.

I'll be able to run a couple hundred rounds through it on Friday, I'll be sure to post up a report when I'm done!

Breakin happens right around 400 rounds. It'll slick up real nice! The 938 prefers 124 & 147 gr to 115 up to that point. YMMV, but the wife's had few a hiccups with 115 under 400. Got about 1k thru it now & no issues after 400. I practice mozambiques, and the little auto sites well, is fast in the hand, just not quite as loveable as my Kahr pm9. However, it's a nice lil pocket rocket all in all. I don't think it's worth the pricetag as my Kahr was $150 less bran hammer new, but it definiley is what Sig should've made instead of the .380 version. Congrats on the new pistol!

I had a chance to hold one the other day and I was impressed. Too bad that one was already sold or I would be holding it now.

Put a couple hundred rounds of 115gr. target FMJ and 124gr. +P JHPs through it, ran like a champ! Had one FTF early one, but I hadn't seated the mag all the way. Very fun to shoot with the target stuff, a bit snappy with the defensive load, but still very manageable.

sounds like a great little gun. i guess ill have to go out and get one and find out for myself.
