Just got this today!
Early christmas/passing the journeyman electrical exam present from my wife!
Pretty excited to use this one!! Then I don't have to scratch up my raindrop damascus sebenza.
It opens really smooth, locks up tighter than any knife i've handled, is pretty grippy thanks to the startac design, and the blade profile is amazing, the swedge will work nicely for scraping tasks.
The only concern that i've had is the lockbar is a little harder to disengage one handed because it doesn't have a cutout in the front slab, only has a little extra slab with a thumb nick on the locking side. Maybe a little more practice or a different technique will cure that,
but other than that it's a pretty stout CR knife. And is built to perfection. Typical of Chris Reeve, nothing but perfection leaves that shop.
The idaho made is placed very tastefully and the special lanyard is pretty cool, and they added a wilson combat symbol to the pocket clip.
Overall i'm thrilled about this one, makes a nice companion to my large damascus sebbie.
This will not be my last CR knife i'm sure of.
