UPDATED with pics (ITS IN!) First Tweener on Order!!!

Well after much debate and some answers to my post on the forums I now have a BK 17 on the way. Really excited about getting this one in! I appreciate all the input!

I figured I would just edit this thread instead of starting a new one to post up some pics and my initial thoughts on the BK17. I actually got it in last Friday but due to some crazy work days havent had a chance until now to get some pics of it. Its been driving me nuts cuz I have been wanting to show it off.

First thoughts out of the box after I took the blade and the sheath out were "This is a lot of knife for the cost!" especially being made here in the USA. The knife itself has an overall great look and feel. Out of the box the edge was shaving sharp with a nice even grind. I dont have a problem with the coating myself but I may end up stripping it at some point depending on how it wears. I like a good worn black coating on a blade and I think this one would look good that way personally. In hand it feels great and the handle design just seems to fit. The sheath is really nice also for the price.
