ok hello again to all my friends that noticed i was not a part of the forum for a while
this is kind of a update on what has been happening of late
so far this year have had 9 kindey stones..
no they dont know why i am getting them ...
drinking vinger and all kinds of things to stop them..
me i thiink i need to go back to a sip of shed juce now and then
left leg started to be right painfull and started to not work
reconstruction of 30 years ago was failing ... things letting loose and hurting a lot
a normal knee replacement was out of the question ... not enught left inside to suport one
during 6.5 hrs on the table they tryed a few options but ended up useing the
knee of last resort .. so i have two Ti spikes in the bones
with a full hinge of moluberum (sp) crome steel mounted to them
ugh i woke up while they were pounding the one spike in the thigh bone
woke up again as gthey were stiching the mussell (sp) back togeather
been very pain full both before and even now
the pain meds were strong ... and mind numbing ...
i am trying to get off them now... but at night i still resort to useing them...
they are the same ones i used with the stones..
i have a umbical hearna now also that hurts quite a bit also ...
dont know why it came about but i finley asked the doc what this funny buldge was?
more knives to go under ... think i will lend them a buck to use

but life goes on and i feel the fog lifting some ...
i still miss my buck hunting yorky that passed away.. but life goes on
will poke my head in and comment
who knows .. any one seen the goose or bg42?
gee seems like every one is verry well behaved now a days
no engageing disagreements .. ?
i still dont like year marks on my nice knives!

Dave,

Good to hear from you and to get a little more of your knowledge. Unlike Buck knives, our parts don't seem to have lifetime warranties. At a certain age, everything seems to go.
 
Dave, just put one (sp) at the beginning and forget the rest.....it will save time!!

You take care of yourself. I hope all this recovering time doesn't mean you been spending more time on e-Bay!!!

Nice to get an update on you, Dave. When I started on the forum you were one of the regulars. A lot of us can relate to the body not lasting as long as a Buck.
 
Health and life issues are hard. Sorry things have been bad but take solace that you are never alone in it.

Glad you can join when you can.

More glad that you can draw breath... something for all of us, I guess.

I've been wondering for a while where you got to. I figured you'd show up when you could. It's nice to look to see who is posting on the forum and see your name again.

Now you get that ol' body fixed up 'cause there is an event the end of next July in Idaho that you don't want to miss!! That's not long after Blade Show, you know?? :)

Well things must be improving for you Dave, since you had the urge to stop by the forum.

Hope that continues, and the only knives you're under are those on your displays over your head:D

well... dem was marked for engenering changes.. jest made changes sooner then a year
but ya many consiter the dots "year marks"
yep sir ree i see some o de guys can types like me a bit..
makes it more easer to read dat a way...

i dont know fer sure but i am a fixing to blame pain meds for
fussy thinking and foggy mind most the time..
like being in the real world
any time any one is free to email me and ask what ever..
i dont know many here in fla that are not family
but here i gots lots o buds ...
jest dont see many o the old timers ...
gooser i know is still around i see his face book page some times
some of the others that were old timers when i was new i miss also..
then some of thoes like bg .. heck me and him knew dirt when it was still stone..
