Upgrade Membership & Suggestion

I recently bought the basic subscription and wanted to upgrade to gold. I just submitted my Paypal for Gold to upgrade, can you please prorate my membership change?

Just as a suggestion for the Paid Subscription page. Gold is first, then Basic, Then Platinum, so I thought they were low to high and bought #2 which was basic. Didn't realize my mistake until now. May want to reorder Basic, Gold, Platinum to make a clearer ranking of the membership levels.
 
Good idea on the sequence. It would also help to list how many PMs allowed for each, and what forums / privileges each get.
 
Speaking of Pirate membership. Could someone explain what benefits come with this membership package?

Saving my pennies and thinking about it.
