Upgrade/Renew Not Going Through Via PayPal Guest

Howdy Spark Spark

I went to renew my Platinum membership by going through the PayPal Guest method and I got a "something went wrong please try again" and was returned to vendor.

I tried a second time, double checking that all my info was correct, and got the same message again. Might be the same issue as the member in this thread: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/paypal-problem.1945562/

When you get a moment can you check on this on your end and let me know if there's anything else I need to do to get set back up?

Not recently. Currently on Version 109.0.5414.120. This computer is still rocking Windows 7.

My phone is up to date. Should I try with that or just bite the bullet and finally upgrade Windows?

And should I try through the gift method or the regular method?

Well that was weird.
Just tried on my phone.

First time I logged into PP and after I hit pay there was a red sentence (like when you're filling out an online form and miss a requirement) and it shot me back log in /guest screen before I could see what it said.

Second time I tried it as "guest" and got the same "something went wrong" notice.

Third time on the phone (logged into PP) was the charm!

Back in business. Thanks Spark Spark and Boru13 Boru13 for your help!


(Pretty sure only that last one went through. Doubtful, but if any others somehow snuck on through just add it on rather than refund. Thanks again)
