I purchased my gold membership 72 hours ago and I thought that was how long it took for membership to take effect. Is there another step in the process before changing permission groups to complete my gold membership purchase?

how did you pay?? by paypal?? if so then sparkie has to do him self. you see if you pay by credit card it happens by it self. go to user groups and see if you can change it your self. if not the you have to wait on him. all of these view and nobody trys to help.

72 hours had been an estimate of how long it took Spark to process PayPal payments. It has been taking longer lately. He will get to it soon, though.

No. 1SKS is Spark's business, and he routes all payments through there anyway. More important is how you pay. Credit card payments are credited automatically, PayPal has to be entered manually.
