Upgrade to knifemaker please

What do i need to do to upgrade my membership from platinum to knifemaker. I would like to post some knives that i have made but im not sure i can do that in the individual for sale area. Id really hate to break the rules. Haha. Let me know whats up and if theres anything i need to do. Thanks.
 
You're correct you cannot post knives that you've made in the individual sales forums, for that you'd need the knifemaker membership and you will have to post your knives in the knifemaker s for sale area. The individual for sale area is for non knifemaker members, although as a knifemaker if you have production knives out of your collection, you may still sell them as an individual in the individual for sale area.

What you need to do is: Go ahead and purchase the knifemaker/craftsman/service provider membership and then post a thread here in S&S that you need the remaining time on your plat membership prorated onto it. It is outlined in the FAQ here:

My plat membership is only a week old. Any way to send check or mo for the extra ten bucks as not to have to spend another sixty that i dont have. If i had it i would gladly spend it but times is tough. All my extra cash comes from selling knives and it would help alot if i could sell them here where they will be appreciated. If there is anything you could do i would be eternaly greatful.
 
The thing is Fishon.
Spark is not responsible for anyone mistakenly purchasing the wrong membership before they read the rules and how things work around here or have changed their mind after the fact. That is why he offers to prorate it onto the existing membership and is usually gracious and gives a little extra time.
 
Cool man just figured id try. Thanks for your help. As soon as i can ill buy the other membership.
