I would not buy a knife called a Thug. Even if it came in Magnacut.

And the blade is not a tanto. Call it a curved modified tanto if you must.

This bothers me a little too. One of my favorite recent knives is the Kizer Agressor, designed by Assassin. So both of those words are on the blade. They are thankfully small but still, I'd rather they not be there.

Thanks. Moving forward, please remember that many of us appreciate thin, slicey blades.

Generally, 0.12" is okay. It seems to be a good compromise. It isn't the best at slicing but it sails through material better than 0.14"-0.16". However, going a little thinner can offer noticeable improvement. Even just the BladeHQ exclusive Elementums at 0.11" are great cutters.

Here are a few notable gems. As the Kitefin suggests, full-sized knives can be great with thin blades!

0.09" - Civivi Bo (This is comparable to Spyderco Delica!)
0.10" - WE Charith, WE Mote, WE Kitefin
