upgraded membership question

someone please correct me if im in error, but i was under the impression that a gold membership would allow one to post in the gallery and the for sale area?, if im wrong and i need to upgrade higher since i just upgraded can i pay the difference, or do i have to pay the whole shebang? any help is awesome

Which Gallery and which FS area?

The Gallery is open to all and the FS by Individual forums are open to Gold and above, so you should be able to start threads there.

The Knifemaker's Gallery and The Knifemaker's Market section of the Exchange are only open to Knifemaker/Craftsman/Service Provider members though.
 
I have no idea. That link was the New Thread button for For Sale: Production Knives (Individual).
 
No restrictions on your profile. Do you see the New Thread button in the main forum listing there?
 
Maybe not what is happening but make sure you are trying to post in the "individual" sections. I had the same problem the other day and realized I was in the area for "makers". This was all in the sales forum by the way. Hope it helps.
 
so am i correct in assuming i cannot post in the maker gallery unless i upgrade to one?, was trying to post pics of a recent knife i made for my brother in law to get opinions, thanks
 
That's the problem. We have The Gallery in Knife Related Subjects for anyone to show off knives. We have The Knife Maker's Gallery under Knife Maker's Discussion Forums, which are only for paid KnifeMakers to post in.
