Upgraded Membership

I recently upgraded from basic to gold. Spark if there is any prorating available, I'd appreciate it. I know it's not much, but it helps cover a small portion of the purchases on the exchange

So, I renewed my basic membership a few weeks ago, but really should have gone gold.

Was there any answer to the prorated question? I’d like to go gold, and hey, the extra 10 bucks would buy an awesome lunch (or go towards more activity on the exchange). More importantly, it would also help ease the pain of my stupidity for not upgrading at renewal time.

I recently joined at Basic and wish I had gone Gold. I would do it right now for the $20 difference, but am hesitant to "throw away" the $10 I paid for Basic about a week ago by paying the full $30 now. Has anyone done this or gotten an answer to this question?

I believe you just buy the gold membership and Spark prorates your basic membership into your gold memberships expiration date.

Go gold and start a thread asking to be prorated.

I could be mistaken but that's what I've seen done before.
