Hi Everyone,
During the Blade show this year I took an order for one of my Riverfront Bowies. The customer asked that I dress it up a bit with some damascus and stag. Here is what we worked together and came up with. The blade is 13 1/8" of forged Loki's Ladder damascus. The fittings are also Loki's Ladder but I added an additional stacking sequence and then gave it a gentle twist, they are very finely grained. The pattern really shows on the face of the guard. I may at some point do a blade with this pattern. The handle is stag. The overall length on this one is 18". The spine is just a shade under 1/4" at the guard and has a very nice distal taper all the way to the point. the blade handles very well and the grip has just enough drop that you can control the point very well.
