Is there a knife similar to the Kershaw Needs Work, i.e. a roughly 4" closed knife with a straight-edged blade, but with upgraded edge-holding? I would like at least s30v wear resistance, as it would be used primarily at work on cardboard. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the wharncliffe or sheepfoot blade in a roughly 4" closed handle. Flipper would be nice, but one-hand opening a must.

0770CF with M390 blade. It's not straight-edged like the Needs Work, but it the curve on it is pretty shallow. Similar size to the Needs Work as well (actually about 0.25" longer blade and 0.1" longer when closed.

The regular 0770CF uses Elmax steel, which is also fantastic. The 0770 (aluminum handles) also use Elmax.

The spyderco yojimbo 2 and blackhawk bewharned are the first two that come to mind. The yojimbo is s30v but I think the bewharned is aus8.
The yojimbo is one of my personal favorites.
