Upgrading membership

I took a basic membership but now regret not just going gold. The basic was 10 the gold is 30... can I upgrade with another 20 or do i have to pay the full 30 for gold. I just signed up last week.

It should be the same as before the site upgrade.

You need to purchase the new membership and then create a thread here asking for it to be prorated.
 
Good news, when you buy a gold membership, your basic is prorated onto the gold automatically
 
just tried to buy the gold and they are asking me to pay the full 30... how does the prorated thing work??
 
Your basic membership is cancelled and credited as extra time on your gold
