Hi,
Since I remember I allways loved knifes, and as the years passed i bought a lot of bad quality knifes.
6 months ago I decided to upgrade from a lot of bad knifes to some good knifes.

I have one ESSE izula on the way.
I still need one gentleman knife, to use in public without making everyone think I'm crazy.
I live in Portugal, so I can't buy any custom knifes made outside Europe.
I can spend up to 150 euros.
Any ideas?

You could look at a traditional slip-joint. Queen makes quite a few nice ones in D2, and all of the ones I have seen are under $100 American. You can find their Country Cousin for about $30 American. Not sure how those prices equate to Euros (the exchange is always fluctuating), but they should be well under 150 Euros.

Edit: I forgot to add that your current collection looks very nice.

100 american dollars are around 70 euros.
I like the general looks of the country cousin, the only thing I dont like is the letters in the blade.
Make it look like a cheap knife...

Some sandpaper should take those right off. Another knife to look at is a carbon Opinel. Cheap as dirt, but actually very good.

For traditionals, the best production ones are GEC. There's also Case, Böker, German Eye Brand, and Queen. You might also want to take a look at Laguiole. For modern gentlemen's knives, Al Mar has a few good ones. Isn't the Mcusta kind of gentleman's knife-ish already, though?

This Mcusta is not, in my opinion, a gentleman's knife.
A knife with a black aluminium handle allways has a tactical look on it.
I have an Hard time finding knifes from Case, Queen and German Eye Brand in Europe.
I can find a lot of Boker knifes though, but mainly tactical black bladed knifes and not so many gentleman's knife.
I don't like the looks of Opinel knifes.

for a gentlemens knife i would look to see if you could find a spyderco kopa. i wear a suit to work and carry a ss chive. the kopa i have is tiger coral. i would carry if but i am not to sure how strong the coral is. i am considering looking for a giraffe bone kopa.
