i 'm thinking of getting a BM42 but is 190$ worth it?
what can u people tell me about this balisong?
i will be using it alot if i do get it, to replace my other cheap butterfly knives so it should be tough from day to day use

That's a little steep for a 42, which is an excellent choice. Why don't you click on the Exchange Forum and look at production knives for sale by dealer, or individuals and see what you can find.

Welcome ßålï§õñGuy. I'm sure you'll find all the information you need right here.

First off, I think that $190 for a BM42 is a little too expensive. If you look around, you can find them for about 100 - 130 online. And yes, it will last you. I'm still waiting to hear of someone breaking a BM4x model. This is not anything like the Jaguars and China Cheapies that are so common. It's light, strong and fast as greased lighting.

I hope you find all the answers your looking for around here. And just as a little hint, search the old posts before posting a question. Most beginner questions (no offense) have already been asked and answered about a dozen times each.

Have fun flippin'!!!!!

ßålï§õñGuy: Are you from the Boston area (can't quite make out the location), if so, have you check the laws regarding carrying a bali? Just wanted to make sure you are aware of the situation. Thanks.

yes, i do belive think its ilegal here in the state of massachusetts but doesn't stop me from carrying mine around anlong with my stiletto switch blade or brass knuckles. But if it is iilegal in my area so this means that i can't order butterflys off the net?

Most places that have laws against balisongs ban you from carrying them, so you can probably (although I'm not sure about this) own one, just not have it on you.
