Everyone,

Since I have some knives I would like to trade/sell(I DO NOT HAVE THE RAT BUG! I DO NOT! IF THATMGUY SAYS I DO HE IS NOT BEING TRUTHFUL!) I was thinking of getting the $25 membership here on BF.

Anyway, I was thinking about buying the gold, but noticed it does not allow you to post pics. I believe this means I would have to have a hosting website.

Can everyone tell me what they are doing? I would like to post pics and sell, but really don't want to spend $50 per year for the few knives I will trade in the next 12 months.

I can handle the $25, however.

Ive got the gold membership and I can post pics, theres a storage limit but its rather large. Hope this helps. :D
 
So I get the Gold for $25, then I can post x number of pics, and leave them indefinitely. Then, when I have more to post, I have to remove some before I can do that, correct?

I've got 54 attachments on here so far and less than half my allotment used so far, so I dont think to me its an issue. You get five megs of space, and with pics sized well, you wont run out real soon. And yes, you can delete old attachments, pick and choose amongst the ones you want to keep as well.

Also, to me, he ability to sell items is worth more to me than the actuall picture attachments, that alone has paid for the gold membership several times over. And to support the forum that supports my habits and pays some of the bills.........its a small price to pay. I'm thinking of upgrading to Platinum next year.:D

I ran out and got a gold last night.

Still pulling my hair out over the pic posting, however.

Crop, resize, and all that. ARGH!
 
Microsoft Photo Editor, or depending on your camera brand, Kodak Picture Software. Both are free downloads and are very simple to import picture files and resize, touch up, and adjust lighting. I use Adobe Photoshop and even it is very user friendly for the basic resizing chores.
 
You can post pictures without a premium membership. Just use a image hosting site like http://www.imageshack.us/ and use the 'insert image' button in the advanced reply. I don't know if you already knew that but I'm just trying to be helpful.

Not unless you at least have a Gold membership. I was just saying that even if he has the Gold he can post pics with the an online image hosting website.
