The Axe is here!!! TAD emailed Friday and this arrived today. The last three days seemed longer than the whole wait. It was well worth it(both the wait and the $). The pictures were great but it has to be held to be appreciated. Very nicely balanced and confidence inspiring. Makes me want to break sh!t. My wife might have to sleep on the couch tonight ;) Mick/Duane, every single Strider I've bought just makes me want another.

Here's one of my lame pics of a cool blade...

That's an ATC Next Gen. Ranger Spike hawk. Good company for the Strider.

Brought it out skeet shooting today to show it off a little. These guys spend thousands on shotguns. They just shake their heads. That's OK. More Striders for us. I sniffed it and gave them the "Smells like Victory" speech. EC ;)

Hi Molexey, I got mine in black also. Great picture. I like the way the sheath works also, it is very well made. This sucker is getting attached to the back of my pack. It is also going with me in my gear bag when I go on search warrants. My friends said I was crazy when I showed them the picture of the axe. But when I brought it to work and they were able to hold it, they said it was the sickest thing they ever saw. This thing may not be for everyone, but who cares. The people who have them are lucky. So good luck! Thanks EMR

I get the same questions about my sanity from my co-workers when they hear how much I spent on a knife/axe. But every time they actually handle one, especially this axe, they don't want to put it down.

Now you want to hear how sick I am; I haven't let the axe out of my sight at home since it arrived. Today, I even came home for lunch just so I could play with it! How messed up is that?

MO...nice pics!!! Thanks for the press.

Did you get any of Mick's WHACKED goodies with the Axe, like the Hammer and stuff?

Thanks Andy. Mick's not making the attachments due to the fact that they take so long to make. It doesn't really matter though 'cause it's still pretty damn cool as it is. Looks real good hanging out with your 'hawks.

Here's a poser pic with two of ATC's hawks. All three of these throw very well but there was no way I was gonna risk smacking a handle with one of these razor sharp blades. Mick's axe is a blast to throw..

Here's a pic of the backside of the sheath. The sheath is excellent, very secure but also easily available. I've had a little more time to play with the axe and have nothing but good to say about it. It is an aggressive chopper making short work of 2-4" trees with little effort. The way it feels I imagine it will make short work of just about anything you decide to swing it at.
