When I got home today after work low and behold a package was sitting prominently on the table with my name on it. Once I opened it and saw the Greco Falcon I beamed. Opening the knife I found allot easier than I have heard and the lock gave a satisfying "SNAP" once opened. Further inspection had me check out alignment of the blade when closed. The massive blade comes to rest nicely in the centre of the handle with no rubbing. All machined surfaces are symmetrical and in places a bit rough and burly (WOW I like this knife!) People hear all about Paul Bunion's axe. I'm sure if he cleaned and trimmed 'ol Blue's hoofs with a pocket knife this would be it. It makes my Emerson look almost anorexic and I like the Emerson allot. Bronze bushings and steel scales gives it fixed blade like ridgedity. While being a bit stiff to open it is actually more smooth than I expected. The blade being .210" thick and finnish gives it a mil spec like appearance. The knife comes with a tool required to not only adjust the tension on the pivot but to dis assemble the knife. The only piece of hardware that is different is the thumb stud. Another nice touch is that the sheath can be worn on the belt in either vertical or horisontal position. With a couple of slabs of red micarta for scales and maybe a pocket clip this brute of a folder would have a broader appeal. Anyone looking for a hard use knife would do well to consider a Greco folder. If you are curious they are available at http://www.cqcknives.com
