After two long months I finally get to lay my hands on my very own TGLB with tan micarta scales & tanker grey blade. I have to say I'm extremely impressed with how ergonomic and light this knife is. The handle is finished incredibly well and the blade was very sharp considering the knife's thickness. The only flaw I could find was a slightly irregular edge on one of the handle fasteners, possibly due to it sitting in a flaring die at a weird angle while the handle was being attached. Considering I intend to use my knife this slight blemish doesn't bother me at all. Overall first impression is 10/10.

Great score man! You may see that as a flaw....I call it character marks....or beauty marks? Welcome and show pics. TGLB was my first also...my favorite!

Nice! Congrats man, I never pulled the trigger on a TGLB,, but always wanted to handle one,,,

I'll try to upload some pics later. Unfortunately I only have a mediocre cell phone to use as a camera. Either way this is one sick blade.

Yea....you gotta take pics now before use...it will only look that nice for so long....once you use it your love for it grows, tremendously! Congrats again on such a great blade.

I know they're "just knives"...But I still remember the time when I opened that package on my first Busse. The Skinny ASH1 with black/tan micartas. Savor the moment...;-)

Congrats on your TGLB !!!!!
