Got this one done today. Knife looks so much nicer than the pics portray.

Specs:
Blade Length - 3 1/2"
Closed Length - 4 1/2"
Steel - Twist Damasteel - Deeply Etched and buffed to mirror finish
Bolsters - Super Conductor - Etched then heat colored (much nicer than pics show)
Handle - Mammoth Ivory
Liners - 0.080" Titanium - Jewelled, Anodized Bronze, & Back Spine Fileworked
Spacer - Timascus

Dual Thumb Studs are Titanium.

No pocket clip, just could not bring myself to cover the ivory with a clip.

Thanks for looking.

Sean

That is some piece of work! Wow... Hard to imagine it looking even better in person cause that is stunning...

Sean, I really like the deep etch on the Damasteel, though I find the cross cut ivory too busy on this piece with this bolster material. I am sure the fit and finish is near perfection. Great to see you using ivory:thumbup:

Incredible. That first picture took my breath away. The mammoth is an excellent choice and the blade is absolutely beautiful, both in shape and materials.

I agree a knife of that much class needs no clip.

Thanks very much everyone. There is certainly a lot going on in this knife. Will definitely be looking for more Super Conductor to use on another project for sure. That was one of the coolest materials I have ever used!

I will have it for a short period of time at Blade. It is already spoken for.

Sean

The pattern is very interesting, but I think there is way too much going on to make it cohesive....and I find the presentation of the ivory to be distracting.

Best Regards,

I really like the character of the ivory and the profile as well as the choice of material for the blade.

Thanks guys.

There is a bit of a story with this knife but it will have to wait until after Blade. Someone else chose the materials for this knife but I personally love the combination. Yes it is a bit over the top but that is kind of the point for this knife.

Sean

That's a great looking knife. I like your combination of materials, the Super Conductor looks good with the Damascus and Mammoth Ivory.
