Upside down fire (video review)

This is my first real fore into movie making.It's me setting and testing an upside down fire.I made this video with our W&SS community in mind so I didn't go into the prep as much as the actual fire it's self.

I let it burn for 2 hours.Everything was as It was in the vid.I smothered it after the 2 hour mark but it would have made a great base for a continuing fire.The length of time you could utilize this type of fire for is only limited by the amount of wood you build it with.A tall fire for long time cooking or a long fire for sleeping in front of.

I've got the volume off as I am watching at work. The point is that building it in this way is that you can have a fire without smothering it in the snow? Very cool. I'll tuck that nugget in the back of my mind. Here in sunny CA- well the rainy bay area right now- you actually have to go looking for snow.
