Camillus EDC & The Outdoor Edge Paragee because I read both were designed by Mr. Ralph. Mr. Ralph also custom makes extremely nice integral folders I have found out, just his prices are out of my reach. My Sebenza purchase was about as high as I could go for a single knife, actually, it was a little above my reach too!

So, get both seeing the prices for the factory production models are much lower :)

I don't have a Paragree, but can heartily recommend the Camillus EDC, especially the 154CM version. The price is dirt cheap for 154CM. I used a Camillus EDC for months, and would still be using it every day if I hadn’t sprung for a Sebenza.

The EDC has exceptional styling and ergonomics, good steel, and a well-made integral lock. The strongly recurved edge can be a somewhat of a challenge to sharpen, but it cuts like crazy. Mr. Ralph really put some serious work and knowledge into this design.

I purchased a 420HC version for myself, a 154CM version for myself, an Anniversary Edition for myself, a 154CM version for my wife, and a 420HC version for father-in-law. It’s the only knife I’ve ever thought highly enough of to purchase multiple knives.

Except for a small number, every knife I’ve purchased has left me with some trait that bothered me enough to try a different knife. The EDC pleased me out of the box and stood the test of extended daily carry. That’s a big endorsement, being happy with a knife after a couple months of everyday use. Few knives can achieve that.

I don't think you can really go wrong with either of these 2 knives. But, I had some quality problems with my EDC when I got it. The Paragee had none.

The Paragee is longer and slimmer than the EDC. Certainly I'd say that the AUS8 steel is better than 420HC, tho the latter is acceptable. For me, the action of the Paragee is smoother, and the lock is easier to open than my EDC, by quite a margin.

The EDC's lock is probably stronger, but I doubt many people can hang onto a knife that is being torqued enough to make a frame lock fail, so that is probably irrelevant. It's blade is slightly shorter, but is wider and has more recurve. It probably has a slight advantage in cutting because of those 2 factors.

The Paragee is significantly cheaper than the EDC, even the basic. About $10 I believe.

Put all this together, and I'd vote for the Paragee.
