Ok Gang!

I've been informed that the product is now ready for sale, and you saw it here first!

The Urban Concealment Sok will cost $15.00 + S&H and is available for both knives and sidearms.

Please respond via e-mail: okuden@earthlink.net

I realize this thread is "misplaced" but I wanted to give you folks "first notice".

There will also be a thread under "gadgets and Gear" in the exchange.

The UCS is an independant unit that can be transferred from one sheath or holster to another.

Can do!

I hate makinng assumptions, but you want that to fit a sheath yes?

That's so wild...I'm sure it will make me look twice at everyone with a cell phone on their belt, lol :)

correct Brian. For that CT sheath.
Would one of these be able to fit on a CT, SH or a Mofo sheath or would you need seperate ones for each???

The same one will fit all!

That's part of the beauty of this product!

So I don't get it. Is the cell a fake? Does the fake cell come with the package? Could I get one made with my actual cell?

Mateo

There's no phone. No call Waiting, no longdistance, and, no contract.

This is a cell phone cover that is mounted on a "sleeve" that fits over the sheath.

What it does: is cause the lower end of the sheath or holster to not look like a sheath or holster.

The idea: is that if you carry concealed outside the waistband, and your shirt/vest/jacket "rides up", folks will think they have seen a glimpse (sic) of a cell phone and mentally ignore it.

I've ordered 6 of these puppies and one is sold. At $15.00 you can't loose!

Great idea, but like Matteo I think it could be very cool and practical to have one for the real cell phone!
It might be kinda akward if the "decoy" has been seen by people around you and you suddenly get a call on the real phone!

Wow, interesting idea and looks great. The idea of incorporating a
"live" cell would be nice but we have 2 problems...

Using existing OEM/After Market Cell "holsters" attached to the sleeve would drive the cost up, cause the package to be much larger/thicker and that might cause some of the camo effect (hide in plain sight) to be lost.

If Brian needed to build a custom Cell "holster" for this sleeve then we would be limited to only the cell phones that Brian has access to or we would need to send him our Cell's for fitting. This would also reduce the availability and drive up the cost.

That being said... I'd go for one.

Hats off to my fellow Californian!

He's nailed dang near all of the reasons we aren't making 'em for 'live' phones.

The only one he glosseed over, was the real potential to damage your real phone. The decoy rides lower than I ever want to carry my phone, and it would indeed stick out farther than normal there by offering Mr. Murphy a veritable cornucopia of opportunities to "disrupt" your com plan.

As soon as I figure out how to make cell phone holder the way I think it should be done, and in an efficient manner, they will be available. (prototypes have been in use for a few years);)
