Urban Defender factory without Camo???

The Jungle Defender (Green) and the Public Defender (Black) are basically the same knife, but in different colors, there were a few PDs that are variants that are part satin finish.
 
Here is the one I'm waiting to receive. There is not a coating on the blade at all. It has a high hollow grind. This is a poor picture. It will be a couple of days before I can take a better one to post.

When you get it, check to see if the finished was removed.
 
On second thought, the dark area looks like a shadow on the side of the micarta slabe. If it is a factory satin finish, you have a very rare PD!:)
 
Jay I tracked down the origin of the knife a user here named Brenden? from the UK (Europe) hopefully we can get him to chime in. Also like I said I'll be happy :) to take her back home.

Brendan said, "it was a combat grade pd - took me hours to get that damn coating off. Lots and lots of sanding !!"

I seem to remember him doing this to a JD also. Well, there is only one thing to do... go beat the snot out of it!! :cool:
