*Big shout out to hoopster for the great sheath can't wait to work with you again. I'm all set up for belt carry, or necker depending on the situation. Gotta give praise to ESEE for such a great blade & I'm loving the new scales.

Here's the RC-3MIL I picked up for my brother. I was going to use my .mil email address to have his unit put on his blade for him, but then I'd have to purchase 12 to have it done. *I know ESEE frowns upon vertical carry without the velcro/pommel cover, but we thoroughly tested it & it stayed snug in the sheath. In his job velcro on a blade is a no-no. We have some time to play with it, since he won't re-delpoy till this fall. I'll post up new pics as we change the configuration. Gotta give a big shout out to ESEE for all the great blades & gear.

I would think that vertical carry like shown should be fine as long as he is not repealing or jumping out of perfectly good aircraft for some reason. My son has been carrying his RC-3 in a very similar fashion on a daily basis for 11+ months in Iraq and he has not mentioned any issues at all. He also carries his Izula vertically around his neck when he is inside the compound and not wearing his armor.

I really like that Izula sheath by the way. Could you possibly add a source for that to this thread.

Will do, the guy that made it is named hoopster & he's on here alot I'll find a link for you.
Cool pics. you have some nice toys there my friend.
Thanks, they're all alot of fun. Picking up the wife a new walther this weekend.

Nice pictures Shawn. I can't remember if I set the clip up like that or not but the way you have it worn is probably how I'd wear an Izula if I ever changed from neck carry. It's pretty convenient like that.

Thanks for the good job hoopster, that's how you sent it to me & I really like it. It has the perfect draw being on my left hip, I'll be sending the next blade to you soon.

That's the same way that I carry my Izula. It is extremely comfortable no matter the position I am in, sitting in my truck or walking around. Plus I love that I can draw it comfortably with either hand.

ah the hoopster kydex i have to say i am partial to the digicam myself
