Urban fudge who drank the cool aid?

Well, to be honest, while a blade that thick will excell mostly in stabby-stabby, a lot of people will probably find thicker handle an improvement over thinner variants.

Gz on a new knife though, and if not many get it you'd have something more unique later on.
 
I ordered mine with black g10, just like in the pic.
 
Got mine with blue/black G10. I put in a request for blue liners on black canvas though but I don't know if they'll do it.

Unfortunately, they won't do liners anymore. I have tried unsuccessfully as have some others.

I wouldn't say Kool aid since it implies that it was either a hasty or not well thought out choice. I actually thought the UG's are the nicest models I've seen from Busse in a while and also because they are INFI and non-coated, which are prerequisites for me.
 
I am really excited about the UG; the fudge does seem a little Kool-Aid-ish to me. The really thick .32 spine gives strength, but limits deep slicing; the deep hollow grind is great for shallow slicing, but is the most fragile edge geometry. Combining a deep hollow grind with a .32 spine might be considered a little schizophrenic. Even Jerry jokingly commented that he is making this one because the name was "funny". This one will be a novelty item I suspect, of course if you are buying one for aesthetics, collectability, resale, then go for it...
 
I had to pass on that one, but only cause the LE's were screaming out to me to buy them :eek::eek::D:D

I had to pass. Not because I didn't want it but I just paid my balance on all my incomings and it was over $1250. I have to take a break. Maybe

Sign up on the list lol i almost wish i got UG instead of the WTH (same ish price).
But the lure of WTF/WTH Set is just too strong lol
