I was wondering what are everyone's thoughts on urban grey on their Busse. And can everyone post pictures of their Busses that are urban grey thanks.
Personal I am a sage person but I am wondering if I should try something new.
Thanks

urban gray seems to be a lil slicker than the sage, probably closer to the olive drab in texture. it is a nice finish imho.

.

I'm a fan of UG, the scars of use seem to blend in with it well, IMO.

That being said, if the moons are aligned and a SFNO or a FSH came around I wouldn't let it bother me if it wasn't UG.;)

I love that last pic, looks like the missing weapon in the OJ trial:D. I like the UG on my ASH, pretty smooth and looks great.

I personally love the urban gray, especially with tan slabs. I have this color combo on my AK as well.

I do like the Urb Grey a lot. Shown with black G-10 ( my favorite), and standard Black scales. Finish is quite smooth, but not as smooth as OD Green.

Can't get into it, personally. I once got a SJTAC in UG/blkmicarta. It looked like the same industrial coating on 60-70's vintage machinery.

IIRC, it was shinier back a few years ago versus the pix of it today.

Urban Grey with Black Alluminium handles, perfect ZOMBIE medicine!

The tan handles do look awfully good with urban grey. Are they really salmon-colored as the photo makes it appear?

I think comparing on my monitor the color is close to true--I have also oiled these handle slabs with mineral oil to bring up the color. Hope this helps!

Eventually they dry out again, and so return to their original color or close to it.

I like urban gray. Doesn't look too tactical, and wears better than some other finishes, it seems. Small scratches and even chips seem to blend in real nicely to it.

The oil on my FBM LE Tigerhide handles seemed to dissipate fairly quickly, over the period of a few days; I don't know whether it soaked in or evaporated.

That tan micarta looks so good I may have to get that instead of the black G10 I was planning on when I can no longer resist ordering a CG ASH 1.

There is a lot of Salmon in the Tan. Here is a photo of OD/Tan. However, I rec'd a later Tan ASH that is much darker. I'll post a photo of that one later.

The urban grey on my GW wears a LOT less than the black crinkle on my CG ASH-1.

A few cardboard boxes and the Black is showing smoothing. A lot more than a few on the UG with virtually no marks.

I would have thought they were the same epoxy base, but it seems something's different. Either that, or the grey just shows less wear.
