I need another knife like I need a hole in the head, but I keep finding myself scouring YouTube looking for videos of the Urban Trapper. Anyone have one? If so what are your thoughts.

Great gents folder. Fun, classy and quite a good cutter. It's so slim that I wouldn't want to carry it daily or try to do extended cutting with it, but in an office environment or as a dress knife it's hard to beat.

Well that might work out for me. One a month I have to wear a suit at work. Maybe it would make my edc suit knife.

+1
great knife,
disappears in your pocket

The handle is deceptively small for such a nice blade. It vanishes in my pocket. Very cool knife.

Have had one for about a week. I carry mine daily in the office. I like it. Wish it were assisted. Still practicing flipping. I got the coco bolo scales. I wanted a longer blade without bulk and this knife does that. Though mostly an apple cutter, it is paired with my 442 S&&W. It can be used, but to me it isn't a user yet. It is like a straight razor, super light, sharp and fast opening. I'll still grab my 110 for camping. VG10 is nice. Sitting here, binge watching the walking dead, flipping it...though I'd prefer my Ka Bar....

The G-10 version is nice, but I let it go, and now I have the all titanium version. It is pretty robust for such a lightweight knife.

Awesome knife, I'd personally get one in each handle type...if I could find them. Great office knife, very light weight, I carry mine almost daily...sometimes I just feel the need to throw some traditionals into the mix just for fun.

I think you'll like any one you choose, but my titanium model just might be my favorite knife.

Has boker made the flipper bigger on the titanium model now that they extended it on the new models? That is the biggest thing keeping me from picking one up.

Yes, the flippers have been enlarged a little bit.
Only the first batch had the smaller flippers... if you don't like the flipper, there is a 42 Version, with a nailnick and no flipper

Thanks, it is more that I prefer the ease of the larger flipper of the new models to the smaller flipper that came on the titanium version when it first came out.

The new flipper makes it great. I had the first run and now the second and the blade now fires out.

How would you guys compare the urban trapper to an Al Mar ultralight or HD? I have the ZDP eagle and love it, but it's a little big for edc or even hiking, so I was thinking or getting a hawk or falcon, but the urban trapper tempts me too.

How is the lockup on these? I watched a youtube video review on one that had some slight side to side play and wanted to ask for others opinions. These do look sweet with the Cocobolo handles and I'm not sure which one to go with between this or the Kwaiken.
