Hi guys,

This is. My first post here in the forum and I'm really glad to be part of the community.

I'm from Brazil and I'm considering in bringing in some good diamond pastes (5 gram Serynges) for strops. Would be applied to Balsa.

The grits would be : 1 mícron, 0.5 and 0.25 for mirror finish (1 mícron for final sharpening after 6k on 8k stones) would be for myself, friends and to sell some to some friends to cover the costs of my own and the group interested in themz, as.we do not have access to this kind of products here. At least not good ones.

I'm looking at these

http://www.techdiamondtools.com/product/diamond-paste-50concentration-5-and-10-grams/

50% concentration, it has a good price, 5 bucks each. Does ayone use? It's a good product? I'm. Used to the ones Mark sells on the Chef knives. To go, but for 15 bucks, it needs to be cheaper, I'm buying about 50 to 100 serynges of each.

Can anyone give me some insight on this products? Are there better ones in this price range.

Thanks in advance for all the community.

There is one vendor that sells that type of sharpening media>> JapanwoodWorker.com I think Garrett Wade might also have the diamond paste/dust in stock. I mainly use stropping compounds when I want to go to the next level.

But this is interesting and I might want to check it out soon. I have several diamond sharpening tools i.e. benchstones, files ect but I've yet to use the paste, dust or slurry.

Search for Kent Supplies as they make a diamond Lapping Paste in all sorts of small and larger micron sizes.
