Hey B~

Do you have a Woodcraft Supply store near you? They have one or both at the one near me.

Happy Easter

I was going to say Chuck if you want it ready to go for handles.

If you want to buy whole burls, then Gilmer's always has a nice selection ("bar" cut pieces as well i.e. 2"square and 12-18" long).

Thanks everybody. Alphaknifesupply has alot to choose from ;)
I'll get started hunting for the right piece ;)

I second Nick's suggestion of Gilmer Woods. They do have a minimum purchase, but just get some other guys to go in on an order, because they have beautiful Ironwood available in BIG pieces, as well as snakewood, pink ivory, bocote - you name it. For Thuya, they have some BIG,cut-it-yourself, burls, as well as a "box of Thuya" in their sales/special section which is a really great deal
