I Like the Looks of Old Time traditional knives but There are SO many Companies and I honestly do not know Where to Start!!

I would like to find for purchase a 1 or 2 blade Traditional Knife with At Least 1 straight edge blade. Wharncliffe or sheepfoots or whatever else they are called on these style knives.

For loose Pocket Carry I like smaller knives, hows about 2.5-3.25" range???

USA MADE no exceptions! No Chinese junk in these pockets!!

I am Flexible for Blade Steel as long as heat treatment is satisfactory.

Under $150 and not super duper Tough to open please and thank you for any recommendations yall have got!!!

Case Knives, Great Eastern Cutlery, Daniel’s Family Brands are the most obvious place to start for new knives. There are a couple of others that I can’t quite remember.
Many good used ones available still. Others can fill you in on the numerous now extinct brands to look for.

I am a huge fan of the half congress

Left is the two blade half congress and right is the regular

Boker for illustrative purposes. These are actually USA bokers which are long out of print. I had confused them with some others and thought they were the German ones.

Camillus made a nice half congress in the size you are looking for. They have been out of business for a while but keep an eye on the usual spots for used goods

Case just did a whole year worth of small congress knives but they have very small blades. You may like that though. Lots of options.

Can't go wrong with a Buck. And you should consider eBay or Etsy for vintage knives. You say USA made only and then decry China, but there are UK and German and Spanish knives in the style you seem to like. Would these be junk to you?

Good luck!

I don't know of any American made 1-2 blade folders with 1 straight edge blade in this size range that can be had readily for under $150 new today.
Plenty of stockmen, but no 1-2 blade patterns that I'm aware of currently

GEC has made many that fit the bill but good luck finding one, and anything Case offered was discontinued in the past few years.

If you really like small knives and are okay with buying on the secondary market I'd suggest the Buck 305 lancer, my favorite Buck model.
The standard black Valox 305 is quite common NOS for under $75 on eBay, vintage 1980's examples all the way to examples made within the past 20 years.

Approaching $150 you can get into the really nice stuff like Sambar stag or the 3 different jigged bones it had been offered in from '88-'98.
Realistically the standard black Valox will be the way to go.

The 305 lancer is an American made knife.
I completely understand about American made.
I have no problem with knives made in other countries that aren't China Taiwan or Pakistan, but I always put American made first.

I honestly think your best bet is going to be eBay.
There aren't a ton of smaller 1-2 blade patterns with a straight edged blade that were made here in the US.

I Have Located Multiple Buck Lancing Folders for $20-75. I will place one on order as it seems to be a cheap but USA PRODUCED folder that is up to my specifications. Thanks for advising me!!

The lancer is a great knife.
I favor the post '85 examples may by Buck themselves in their own factory, but the earlier pre date code examples made for them by Camillus in New York are still a good knife.

I now have On Order a Lancer Buck from the middle Of The 1980's if I understand the Date Code System correctly!! I am excited to own this piece of Buck History. Thank You for pointing Me in a Good Direction!!
