USA Made Spyderco's

Dont forget the native, thats a good one for a small knife. I think the p'kal is usa too, then theres also the uk penknives and the pygmy warrior. Thats all I know of without cheating:D I prefer the manix 2 xl and the military to most other knives in existence.

If you want something really impressive and ever have a chance, pick up a lock back Manix. It's an amazingly solid knife.

I'll keep an eye out, my Manix would be top dog right now if my 710-3 hadn't come in.

The 710 is a favorite of mine. I have 4 of them, I wish I had picked up the M4 version. :(

Thanks fella's, that's what I was looking for, plus I guess I should check out the 710....

This times 1000 - could not agree more. I bought and then sold one of the original mini Manix folders before they were discontinued. Getting back into the hobby I chased my roots and was lucky enough to snag one again somewhat recently. Hearing the lock engage on these is something you have to experience in person as there is just nothing quite like a Spyderco lockback. That was THE original tank-like folder for me.

Considering how difficult the original Manix are to come by now, the BM 710 is a good option. Large folder that carries very well with the slim profile. It is a classic and a must-have at some point in your collection.
