I got this little boys axe at a garage sale, it is marked USA, I'm just wondering if it could have been USA military issue? This doesn't really matter to me but the main reason I'm making this thread is because the axe narrows down quickly to a very thin blade. I've never had a axe that's like this so is it worth hanging on a new handle or should I pass on this one. The photo shows what I'm talking about better.

Definitely not military, and nothing like any American axe I've ever seen.
As far as quality you'll have to just go for it and find out.
There are a few axe experts here that might be able to tell you something about it.

I'm just not sure because it's so narrow for a inch or two the photo really doesn't show the justice of it. I'm going to wait for another axe instead. Thanks ever one for your time I really appreciate it.

If your really gonna take a pass on it, it screams at me to use it for limbing and to keep handy while splitting fire wood. You interested in shipping it out? You can open my profile and send me an email if you want to discuss.
