I was looking at my Alaskan Guide 110s and noticed the 2004s have "USA" under the "BOS S30V" tang stamp, but my 2005 doesn't have the "USA" with the BOS stamp. Do the 2006 or 2007 AGs have the "USA" under the BOS tang stamp?

I just checked again and even though my box has 11/02/06 on box the blade has the Idaho date stamp thus making it a 2005 .

Hi Scott,

Interesting observation :). I have an AG 04 woody and stag that have the USA under the Boss stamp. I also have an AG 05 woody that is just like yours...no stamp under the Boss stamp?

I took a look at the Club fundraiser 110 w/Honey Worm Groove inlays, it has the USA under the BOS stamp, but the Club Stag drop-point doesn't have the USA under the BOS stamp. Anyone looked at an '06 or '07 yet? Me and JB need to know:D

Scott,
I have an AG S30V I bought right after they came out. I can't say what year because the blade actually has no stamping other than the BOS S30V stamp which in this case also has USA underneath. The photo shows the side missing any Buck stamping.

... It never ends!!!!

It certainly doesn't seem to!

I have two 110AG woodys and one stag.
All are 2004 blades with "USA" on both sides.

Wish I would have obtained more 2005 Potato State stamped knives. I like that stamp.
Maybe after Buck is done doing the left-right-upside down "Chicken Trax" stamp they will use a falcon. I understand that the falcon represents Idaho well enough to be on their quarter...even though their state bird is a bluebird.

Anyway, I never thought about why they have "USA" on both sides of the blade until now.

FWIW, my 2006 110BP 154CPM does not have "USA" under the BOS/154CPM stamp.

Guess I need to buy one of these things so I can join this discussion! It all sounds pretty interesting.
