I did search. I have a True Temper Flint Edge Kelly Works in a Dayton patern. It is also stamped "USA" near the poll, why the addidional stamp? I hate to make a post but have not found answer. Thanks for your time.
This or Forestry service. Though they usually stamp those heads with USFS, they occasionally just put USA on them. Or they just happened to stamp in on there at the factory..
I'm with Copper, military issue. My guess your Kelly is a Dayton pattern, 3.5 Lbs, about 7" bit to poll with a 4" bit, on a 32" or 36" curved handle (if it's original).
Forest Service are usually stamped FSS for Forest Service Supply.
