I just saw and sheath setup over on the ESEE forum where a custom Kydex sheath was made with the copper rivet and burr with the rivet peened. Now that was my first thought but I had not seen it until now.

Anybody got experience with using these rivets? I really like them a lot for leatherwork.

No experience with them but I don't see why you couldn't make it work. Just make sure the kydex stays clamped tightly together while you're peening the rivet over.

Do you glue your Kydex too? With Barge? Or just rivet? I am a leather guy from way back but I want to try Kydex.

Just rivets. Even before being riveted on the foldover style, much of the retention is there. The rivets just tighten it up and make sure it stays. If you have the rivet dies and a press, it just takes seconds. That's the easiest part of kydex sheath making.

Amen :D

The copper rivets and burrs are great!! The burrs are a press fit and hold tight, the riveting helps secure the burr and finishes it off nicely.
