Use it or Lose it

Recently, I was browsing a Colt GI gun board. and someone was fretting over shooting an old GI issue Colt or putting it up. The responses were typical. However one tougue and cheek response not so typical... He said to use it and enjoy it. Or when your're dead you're wifes new husband or boyfriend surely will.

He was joking of course. But it got me thinking...most of the slipjoints I have are put up. But there are times while cleaning and such I get the yearn to rotate them in my edc.

Most I give to relatives as presents, or save for my kids. I surely want them to use them and not put them away.

But as an afterthought... I think that I'm to go and buy some cargo pants .

Another thought for you. Saving for your kids is a nice idea, but just think. Would you use your fathers knife if you had it right now, or would you keep it as a rememberance? I know where my Dad's knife is and I don't use it but he sure did, and I like it more because of that. I say use em and enjoy.
