I don't know if I'm going to reopen the other forum after it's fixed, so for now, please use this forum for your HI conversations.

I hope you can save it to the archives as there is so much valuable information there.
And, there are posts which mean much to me on a personal level. There are posts made while I was in the hospital for bypass surgery. Also when I had to go back for the leg infection. These were well wishes sent personally and they mean a lot to me and I'd hate to lose them. And, then there was all the good wishes for Chokpa when she got hit by the car. I'd hate to lose those, too.
So, I wish you luck with your endeavors.

Uncle, I hope the server problem is not in the data of posts, but around I/O and creating an adequate view for each request. At least the data can be saved as an archive to be reachable.

Spark, thank you for maintaining the name of "HI" forum in this one, too. Well it could be any worse.

It's gonna be a helluva note if we've completely lost everything on the forum. Anybody got any ideas as to what caused the meltdown?

:
I'm betting that Spark will archive it if he doesn't get it up and running for what ever reason.
That's one of the great policies on bladeforums.com, seldom is anything totally lost or thrown away.
I agree that it would be a terrible shame and waste if all of those months of good news and history of BirGhorka, new khukuris, pix and the fun of HIKV.......And the not so good news like Uncle Bill's bypass and Chokpa being ran down went into cyberspace.
