The thread by TAH "Using Expensive Knives?" inspired me to post this pic.
This is my Fitch Defender with 10" D2 triple quenched blade. The angle of this shot makes the handle look much bigger in relation to the blade than it actually is, but . . . hey, you get the idea.
I had started cutting up 24 chicken quarters with a small 4" Spyderco serrated kitchen knife. Wasn't satisfied with it's performance and began looking around for something more suitable. Couldn't find anything then thought . . . why not?!
BTW . . . those chickens didn't have a chance!! I stood there just cuttin' n' grinnin'! What a joy to use!
Since then it's been out in the deer woods for a few cutting chores. Love using it!
