I used my $600+ Sebenza to open some of my kids’ candy tonight. And my wife says I never use my knives! Pshaw.

Put my 3V RatManDu to work on some pumpkins. Happy to report that SR3V beats pumpkin every time.

The funny thing is, I did realize tonight—while opening a pack of Sweet Tarts—that the tip isn’t as sharp as it was when I first got it. But that’s from actual use, cutting up cardboard especially.

I rolled an edge on Jolly Ranchers once, so I use scissors for that stuff now.

Happy to report that it ably handled whatever I threw at it: Whoppers, Skittles, Twix. Now, I didn’t have the opportunity to see if it could pry off the wrapper of a Mary Jane (anyone else remember those?). If you look up “adhesion” in the dictionary you’ll see a picture of a small child crying because he can’t get the wrapper off a Mary Jane.
