As Joe Biden states, here is the deal..

for same money, $70 bucks, what would you choose…

A brand new 110 Boyscout with Nickle bolsters and Cherrywood

or a used 110 …50 anniversary that needs a Buck Spa treatment.

I hate to be the guy who replies "Neither," but can't you get a new 110 for like $60?

Anniversary is for show, I guess, and it ain't going to be much of a showpiece if it already needs to be refurbished, so just get a new user knife. But, then again, people say I lack imagination.

That's a tough call.

You can buy the BS knife all day long for $70.00. Are you able to buy the Anniversary knife at this price any time you wish ?
Not if you live in Canada. I was a Scout up here in my younger days and wanted to order one but Buck won't send one outside the U.S., unfortunately.

For $70.00 I'd grab each one.

edit: actually, I think that I paid about $70.00 for this used Anniversary Edition and it is worth every penny. At some point it will go in for a spa treatment.
