and it performed well. I had to clear an area at the back of my property, and I have to say it was fun with this knife. Thankfully, there is still more to do.

Chopping rulez...

I always think the fluting messes me up a little. Is there a scientific reason for the fluting? I'm sure it's been covered in a thread around here somewhere...
 
The corrugations allow the blade to have the same lateral stiffness as the blade would have without them, but at a lighter weight.
 
Congrats on the awesome blade, that color combo is one of my favorites. Glad you got to use your CGFBM.

I thought they were silencing baffles that helped mute the dying screams of the whales. :confused:
