large regular sebenza, bg42, with the box and lanyard, '03 dob, in 98% shape

does $250 sound about right?
 
yep, maybe even slightly low, depends on how quick you want to move it.
 
I'd say right on since I've seen a few S30V NIB go for $ 275 -$ 285 shipped.

good spot! I think the Sebbies have been S30V since 2001 or 2002...

but bg42 is good stuff. better edgeholding than S30V altho' more difficult to sharpen. I'm looking for a bg42 large classic NIB myself. and definitely, I'll take it at 250 shipped.

Could it be one of the few flat ground versions?
 
good catch, guys. double checked and it's '01, not '03.

I've gotten pretty attached to my BM axis locks, so I'm just wondering if I pick up this Sebenza and don't like it, what are the chances I could get my $250 back out of it. I said 98% because it's got a little wear on the clip.

many peeps buy/sell sebbies for $250...i got my lg stars and stripes for that much so deals can be found :)
 
I think you are pretty safe situation. I think you can get your $250 back out. May require a little bit of patience.
