Used tool store find

Last saturday, I discovered a used tool store in town that had quite a few decent knives, but didn't have very much time to look. So today, we went back, and I was able to get a good look at a lot of them. I didn't really plan on getting anything like this. I had been thinking along the lines of a Buck, USA Schrade, or perhaps a barlow of some sort. For some reason though, this caught my eye. I'll have to admit I'm not very familiar with the brand, though. Says Bear and Bull, Solignen. I did some research, and apparently it's made by Buck Creek.
A few crummy pictures:

A nice find. Looks to be in unused condition. Blades look full and the blade etch is not worn.
Congrats!

Congrats on digging up that nice congress! It looks great.:thumbup:
I've heard of Bear and Bull but know nothing about them. Did the store have any of the Bucks or USA Schrades you were expecting? Did you pick up anything else? Thanks for the idea on a new place to look for "treasures"; I'll have to check if we have any used tool shops in the area! :)

Thanks :)

They had a few Bucks. A few folders, and some fixed blades. I was really looking for smaller folders, so I didn't look too much at the fixed blades, but it looked like they have a decent selection. I didn't pick anything else up this time. They did have a few Schrades, some Case, Imperial, a couple old ka-bar... One Schrade was peanut sized, but had three blades. I didn't even know they made one like that. That's the first used tool store I've been to. Usually we go to antique malls. I've seen lots of interesting things, but I don't buy a whole lot. Funds and all.

Like the thin profile. One of the big turnoffs for me on congress patterns is that they get so bulky with too much blade. Nice find, sir!

Bear and Bulls probably a SFO for some club or something. There's nothing more satisfying to find a nice knife in one of those second hand stores.

A little google-foo shows that "Bear and Bull Cutlery" is a Frost Knives brand. Frost's website has 44 offerings (differences are handle material - e.g., 6 congress, 5 sunfish, etc). Most of the current models are abalone, a few MOP and pakkawood.
