Added a Mini-photon to my Soldier-I have changed the lanyard length(a couple times) since taking this picture. I use it almost as much as the main blade and screw-driver.

Mine is attached to a Rambler. It makes a good fob for the SAK and vice versa.

Nice. I haven't tried such a flashlight, maybe I should give that a try. But I always carry two flashlights anyway. :-) There's always a Fenix E01 on the keyring and often a Fenix LD10 in my pocket or a Fenix L2T in my jacket.

Edit: forgot one, the Midnight Manager on the keyring has a small LED light too.

I too have a Fenix on my work keyring, and an iTp A3 EOS on my other 2 keyrings.
I can't take credit for the idea however-I got it from one of the hi-speed guys on the outdoor gear section.

Yes, that's a great idea. The Photon replaces the lanyard knot, and adds another tool.

Do you carry the Soldier in the pouch, pants pocket, or somewhere else?

I got the knife and I love it, but I never carry it, as I find it to be just too big.

I carry it in my pants pocket-I'm used to a ZT302 so this is a down-size for me. I wear tru-specs at work and they have a perfect pouch-type pocket on both sides. Sometimes I put it in a nylon Leatherman sheath.

I loop my Streamlight through the ring on my small Tinker, partially so I don't lose one or the other. :D

Got any pics of your knife?

A friend of mine did some modding on my Vic Soldatenmesser 2010.

I didn´t like the serrations, so it has been removed and the blade now seems to be more a mixture of sheepfoot and wharnie.

Kind regards

S-biners are another useful way to attach your blade to a light.

I've tried those on my key-chain and they seem to open and become unattached-usually in my pocket.

I will probably eventually remove my serrations also.

It's a toss up it seems, if you can get the flashlight detached easily, it also unclips in your pocket by itself.

I like the OHT serrations most of the time. They do sell plain-edged versions however, no need to grind. Unless you enjoy that, in which case grind away :p

I'm still sticking with the serrations. I usually carry 2 knives most of the time and the serrations do have a niche.

I love those little lights. I have to dig around..I think I have 2 of them in one of my packs. I don't think I would add it to my EDC Farmer, but its worth a try.
