All Summer long our neighbor provided my family with extra vegetables from his garden so I decided to chop up a ton of kindling for his woodstove as a thank you. I forgot to take a picture when I was done but the box was over flowing with kindling. I used the DSF to do the dirty work. The sheath was made by Steelnut, the camo was done by Krylon
I know, I know moooore pics of my DSF, yes more pics...I love this knife :D
Enjoy

Nice do you think it was easier to use the dsf as opposed to something bigger?

Hi drbarnes, I prefer the DSF and CGFBM for battoning. I have tested it all and battoning with a blade works best for me. The CGFBM for huge logs but for smaller to medium logs I use the DSF and RMD. Overall if I could only have one it would be the CGFBM. The DSF works so well at this type of activity amongst a lot of others that it is all I carry. I've gone through huge logs with it just to test it and it does it with ease. For the small size of kindling I needed that day the DSF being a little thinner just splits the wood up easier.
I have tried doing the same splitting with my axes but I found I can chop/batton more wood faster with my CGFBM and DSF.

have a great day

I can attest to that!

Suweeeeeeet - great pics and great knife!

The DSF is one of my all time favorite Busses next to my NMSFNO and CGFBM.
